I was worried the lace would itch against my skin, but the sheer mesh overlay keeps it surprisingly soft. The guipure panel looks really delicate in person and it sits flat under everything I've worn it with.

The velvet strapping is what sold me — it sits flat and doesn't dig in at all. The sheer mesh over the lace makes it feel barely there, which is exactly what I wanted for everyday wear.

I was worried the guipure insert would feel scratchy but it's surprisingly soft against skin, and the velvet straps sit flat instead of digging in. Wore it under a slip dress all evening and forgot I had it on.
